The Halfway Crooks are a dynamic group of musicians from Yonkers, New York who are currently invading your local bar scene and infiltrating the industry with a new sound and original style made up of soulful and grooving rock/reggae/hip-hop/ska/funk rhythms overlapped by melodic raps, smooth melodies, and infectious hooks; with insightful and memorable lyrics that paint a picture bound to stick in your head.
The group is known for their energetic performances and crazy stage antics which makes every show a party within itself. When you're at a Crooks show you never know what your going to get. The only constant is the great music which is always provided and on point. The group strives to make the audience more than just onlookers as they take steps to get as many people as possible involved with the music. One night you may find yourself watching the band get their heads shaved on stage, the next, you might be showered with gifts or bear witness to a mind-boggling magic trick.
